At Smiles After the Storm, we know that lasting impact is made possible through strong community partnerships. One of our most meaningful collaborations has been with the Center of Hope Foundation, Inc., working together to bring joy to children living in homeless shelters.
Through this partnership, members of the Center of Hope’s employment program help prepare birthday boxes filled with everything needed for a celebration — decorations, party favors, cake supplies, and gifts. These boxes ensure that every child has the chance to experience the magic of their special day, regardless of their circumstances.
“Helping fill the Smiles After the Storm bags and boxes has been amazing. Our program participants are excited to see this mission grow, and they know it helps put smiles on so many faces,” said Dianna Rebello, Director of Employment Services at the Center of Hope Foundation.
